| My how time flys when you are having fun.Unbelievably busy lately. Got some really good stuff I have written from when my Grandpa died. It reads like a soap opera so I have to do extensive editing to get it ready. I need to start reading more often, it seems that when I read I am more inspired to write. I am currently reading two books. Aaron LRB gave me an AWESOME book on time management. Now that is a friend for you, someone that recognizes your biggest weakness in life and volunteers to help you with it. He bought this book just for me and I am very happy about it. Very well written and it seems that I am getting a little more time back every day. I am also reading the "First King of Shannara". Yeah, Yeah I know... but I have always been a junkie for this stuff.

| Colleen and I were talking this morning about some of our most embarrassing moments as children and so I thought I'd share one of mine! We laughed about it but at the time I was experiencing it, it wasn't very funny :) Anyway, we lived in Cleveland, Texas around my grandparents at the time..I was in the 6th grade (I believe) attending a public school system and one morning my mom was attempting to get me and my three siblings out the door so we wouldn't miss the school bus (as we had no car for her to drive us) well.....I couldn't find my only pair of shoes anywhere....we ALL looked and looked....my mom was so irritated at me and she basically told me I was going to school that day no matter what she had to do so...to make a long story shorter (oh, I forgot one minor detail...I only wore dresses to school...not because of church but because my dad said...we didn't go to church at the time :) !! anyway, the only pair of shoes she could find were my older brothers cowboy boots so she made me wear a pair of his jeans and his cowboy boots to school. I was mortified....not only was that the first time for me to wear pants to school but I had cowboy boots on to finish the outfit! I learned my lesson...
